ECAD Import Option

Several years ago there was an app that allowed you to import ECAD files into Onshape. When that app was removed I seem to recall getting an email from @joe_dunne saying that the app was no longer available but another solution was coming soon. Currently I don't see any way to import ECAD files.

Is there a solution out there? Is one on its way?

That's right - it is under development. @rob_lacey may have more information.

@christopher_quijano - Apologies I didn't see this post earlier. Yup, I've got something that should do the trick at www.ecadmcad.com. It's still in Beta at the moment and currently free to use. Just create an account and give it a go. It supports IDF, IDX & Eagle (though I need to do a bit more work to ensure Onshape is able to cope better with disjointed profiles from Eagle).
