    This type of model will require a few different tools. The helix tool to create the 3D curves. The sweep tool to follow the 3D curves. A curve pattern to pattern the ladder along each curve. Here is a sample of what I am talking about. 





    Below is an image of the wireframe I used for this model.    Let us know how you make out!
