Document hangs due to large stl

EDIT: After waiting on the page for ~20 minutes the stl was able to load and i was able to delete it.

I imported a large stl into a document and now I can't seem to do anything within that document. Is there a way to delete a part studio from the main menu without entering into a document?
I can't switch to any other tabs in the document and I just get the loading wheel until my browser tries to kill the page.
