copy mate features possible?

NeilCooke the context menu on a Mate has a copy in it. How can it be used?

P.S. Is it possible to edit a suppressed feature or do you have to unsuppress it first?. The reason is that I think its easier to edit it when its suppressed and you can move it to a temporary workarea.

No, you can't edit a suppressed feature/mate because you wouldn't be able to preview your edits.

I never noticed the copy option in the mates menu so had to try it out. Seems it is a reorder function - select mate(s) then copy, then right-click somewhere in mates list in the same assembly and "move copied mates here". I think it is a throwback from before we were able to drag and drop reorder mates. Should go really.

The copy is not of any use.

(Well, it would be handy if the mating was temporarily disabled while editing until you accept or solve )
