    Thanks for the input everyone! I'm happy enough with what I have just splitting with two helixes, but I love all of the new ideas and tests flying around. Thanks for joining me on this journey of overthinking something that could be pretty simple. I've learned some new things, which was the point. Also @jozef_D that's a cool approach for animating a spring!
