what am i doing wrong here?

im just starting out and i want to creat a loft between these two composite curves, but i cant seem to get it to work. need a lot of help, i'm a total beginner in CAD.

I'm not sure what your end goal is, but is this closer to it? I have a feeling you'll want to tweak it. A few things:

I don't think you need composite curves. You may have watched a tutorial from before you could select multiple lines in the loft feature.
your bottom curve (sketch 1) wasn't attached to the side profile (sketch 2). it's the bottom right vertex in the image below. That meant you couldn't use it as a guide curve.
if you don't want the creases going up at a diagonal like that, you need to split the sketch 3 profile to have the same number of curves as sketch 2, then line up the points.

ok, now i have a better idea. how do i make the loft follow the shape of sketch 2? i wanted a dome like structure with the small protrusion? i tried composite curve and it jut gave an error. do i have to make guides for the loft to follow?
