Transforming Mates around arbitrary points in assembly.

We have been playing with  making api calls to onshape assembly (occurrence transforms) and had a bit of a success in transforming parts around origin. In our use case we have multiple Revolute Mates that we want to turn to specific angles through api calls. We can do it through occurrence transforms but the parts have to be translated to origin before rotating and reinstating the part back to its original place, which is not great. We were wondering if there was a way to make an api call to an assembly, specify part id, mate id and tell to turn to certain angle. Would love to get some help. Thanks!
