Why Can't I Extrude This Shape?
I made a simple periodic shape I want to extrude but so far I have not been able to get it to extrude. Please someone take a look and see if there is a logical reason? Thanks.

It’s because the two lines at the bottom left corner we’re not joined together
But you should take the time to constrain your sketch because things can move around to easily, and you’ll end up with the same situation — where you have a shape that isn’t closed, and as such, you won’t be able to extrude a solid
