A create line feature should be added with title "point direction"

Good that we can create 2D, 3D curves outside of sketch. And great that we can create a "line" using bridging curve using position option. HOWEVER, a simple line command is sourly needed where you can just pick a point (for the line to pass through) and then a plane (for the line to be normal to). This new line should be added to the "create a plane" menu. That is, the create a plane menu should be renamed to something like "Construciton entities". one could use this line to act as a pulling direction, extrude direction, as an axis for revolve, plane creation etc.

    You can use Mate Connectors this way. You can create them anywhere you like, reorient them, rotate them etc. The Z axis is normal to the XY plane (of course) and would act like your line above.
