i AM TRYING TO USE THE CIRCULAR PATTERN TO REMOVE THE 2ND AND 3RD INSTANCE FROM THE FIRST INSTANCE OF AN SYMETRIC EXTRUDE CUT OF THE SLOT.  WHAT AM i DOING INCORRECT?  THE MATERIAL IS NOT REMOVING.

    Select apply per instance checkbox. Feature pattern first tries to make face pattern of all faces created by selected features and if those faces of pattern instances occur to be adjacent to some new faces it just fails like this.
