There are lots of ways to do this: Revolve, sweep, loft.
Here is one method:- Start with solid cylinders. This will let you have a clean interior with the final step.
- Create a sketch of the open portion of the joint.
- Revolve that sketch and add the new part to the existing parts.
- Hollow the ends.
