Extension not appearing

I have created an OAuth application, and added a few extension locations.
My application does not appear in any of the contexts that I have specified in the "Extensions" section of my developer portal.
As an extra sanity test, I have replicated the wikipedia "arbor press" sample as given in the API docs, but it also does not appear.
Is there a delay in adding extension contexts, or am I missing another step?
