How to knurl this face

I've only come to this forum a few times but each time you are all so helpful. 

I'm still lost on how to use some of the drawing tools like projected curves and things (which I'm not sure if that's what I need to do here)

How would I knurl the front rounded face of this drawing? I know to use the sweep command to remove along a specified pattern but trying to think how to create the sketch to follow the curvature of the face if that make sense. Can someone direct me?

@cabel_mcelderry Putting a knurl on a model is not recommended because of the number of faces it creates. This can reduce performance and costly regeneration times. So try to avoid creating these features whenever possible. However, if you absolutely need a knurl on the face of a part for 3D printing applications, here is one way you can do it.
