Pin slot mate with fixed pin

Having some issues getting the pin slot mate to work where the pin is the fixed body, but the slot is on the body which I'd like to move (in both translation and rotation around the pin).

Any ideas how to make this work?

    @jim_schmalzried , I think you created your part in angular orientation hence pin-slot is not working properly. you have to give extra revolute constraint with respect to red pin. It will definitely solve your purpose as shown in below video.



    You can also solve this issue without giving extra constrain. Create mate connector by clicking move option and give similar orientation angle of part creation as shown in below video.
