Aerodynamic Shape Optimizatoin
Hi everyone,
we're looking for your feedback on a new feature we launched through our Onshape AirShaper app:
Aerodynamic Shape Optimization (see the launch trailer).
It can automatically take a 3D model and morph it into a more aerodynamic version!
It can optimize for lower drag (and thus more range, higher efficiency, ...), more downforce (better sportscar performance) and even more lift (for airplanes, fixed wing drones, ...).
Simply put:
original STL goes in, optimized STL comes out!
For more information, check the Onshape blog.
We're very much looking forward to your feedback on this
Thanks & talk soon,
Wouter.

I think a gif is in order to demonstrate this optimization:
