Shell Question

Hi, I wonder if someone can assist me. In the example in the link I used the shell feature, however I don't want the profile around the central circle - this needs to be a through hole. Is there a way to delete unwanted features in shell or is there another way to do this? Thanks in advance.

The first option is to add the face of the inner hole to the "faces to remove" in the Shell feature.
The second method is to shell the part before making the through-hole cut. This approach requires an additional feature though.
Hope this helps!
You can use the move face command, the delete face command, or create a sketch and extrude remove(would not recommend this option). You can also select the inner face of that profile while in the shell feature and that may do what you want.
Move face works for me.

It also works to select the inner face of that profile while in the shell command.
