Spacemouse - manually set rotation origin?

Is there any way to manually set the rotation origin point when using a Spacemouse? Both Solidworks and F360 let me do this and sometimes it's important. The default logic works great until it doesn't.
I was hoping I could trick OnShape into letting me choose the origin by initiating the rotation using the mouse and then taking over with the Spacemouse, but no such luck...
