cant make a solid revolve

every time I revolve an object. like clicking one line and then the dotted line to revolve it about 180 degrees. but every time I do that the inside is hollow. I want to revolve an object 180 degrees and for it to be solid.

    @sebastian_saaved Without seeing the example I am assuming that the sketch you are revolving is not a closed profile. If you use a solid line instead of a construction line to revolve around it will be a solid.
