VisualIMPORT for Onshape- no longer supported?

The App Store lists VisualIMPORT for Onshape as a "Connected Desktop App". Following links to the MecSoft website allows you to download the desktop application (which offers a free module for 3-axis milling), and even allows you to download and install the so-called VisualIMPORT extension, but that's as far as it goes. A phone conversation with the vendor confirms that the extension is no longer supported.
So why is the product listed in the App store?

This is a great question. I was playing around with CAM just now and went off on a bit of a tangent to see if there was anything better than F360 while I wait for CAM studio to be released. It seems like this Visual Import app was originally supposed to be ShapeCAM but was never fully implemented. This definitely shouldn't be on the app store with CAMstudio coming out.
