Position title: Project engineer
Type of contract: 6 months initial contract prorrogable to full time
Location: Barcelona
Reporting to: Technical director & Chief designer
Job descripition
The successful candidate will work as part of the busy, fast paced Engineering team on the development of new and innovative powerboats within DeAntonioYachts design team. DeAntonioYachts designs and produces boats for the powerboat leisure market. Close to its 10th anniversary, production is done in Europe and boats as sold world wide.

Key responsibilites & accountabilities
- Organise and manage the 3D model of new boat designs
- Creation of 3D model for moulding tools to be sent to CNC
- 3D modelling of assembiles & components
- 2D drafting of parts
- Onshape skills transfer to a small team of marine engineers
Qualifications & Skills
- 3D CAD. Professional Proficiency on OnShape
- 2D CAD. Professional Proficiency on OnShape
- B.Eng in Mechanical engineering, aeronautic, automotive or equivalent.
- Proefficient in Onshape. Familiar with top-down design and 2D drawings.
- Composite structures & mechanical engineering mind set
- Able to liaise with other engineers/designers in order to optimize overall design
- Capable of performing standard engineering calculations.
- Previous experience with composite manufacturing products
- Fluent in English and/or Spanish
Extras
- Experience with yachts (understanding marine systems) preferred but not essential.
