Derived Part Studio Rebuilds Unnecessarily

S1monS1mon Member Posts: 3,044 PRO
I have two part studios in a single document. One is a right hand version and the other is the left hand version. The left hand version is derived from the right and just has a few part delete features and a mirror part feature. If I switch back and forth between the part studio tabs it's fairly quick, as long as everything is "current". As expected, editing anything in the right hand studio will cause a rebuild of the derive feature in the left studio. What doesn't make sense and wastes a lot of time is that simply showing or hiding mate connectors in the right hand studio will force the left hand studio to need to rebuild. This doesn't make sense.
