Multiple parts evenly spaced?

I need to make railroad ties the same size and evenly spaced.
Can someone direct me to a lesson on how to do this?

    At right top corner hit the ? button. And search for curve pattern.

    Thank you. Found that creating a linear pattern did the trick. Thanks again.
