How to make an extruded face not parallel to the starting face?

New user here (probably obvious)
I'm trying to model the body of an acoustic guitar. I drew the outline, then extruded it. To make the top non parallel to the bottom, I drew a long skinny triangle and extruded it to remove part of the solid:
Is this the best way to create this shape?
I'm still learning the basics, so any other tip are appreciated.

I created a construction line at the bottom edge to use as an axis for rotation. A much more intuitive way than extruding off a sliver of the part.
I'm really liking OS. I've watched a ton of videos and try to use the help topics, but this forum is invaluable.
You may not actually need to create a construction line depending how your part is setup as you can pick a mate connector (re-orienting it if needed) for the axis.
If you only model 1/2 of the shape and add a mirror feature later, as late as you can in the feature tree (it looks like it's symmetric, disregard this if it's not!) you can save a bunch of time/effort and you can just pick a mate connector directly for the rotate:

Very simple model, I know. A big part of my motivation for modeling it was to learn OnShape and CAD in general.
I'm now making an electric guitar, and have been using OnShape to do basic 2D layout and printable templates, to make recesses for pickups and controls.
