How do I lengthen part of a pararsolid part? (i.e. moving all the geometry at the end of the bar)

Hello 

I have imported this part as a parasolid (from SolidWorks).

How can I lengthen this bar... 



Here's another view (note that perspective is on)

I just want to moving all points at the end of the bar a bit further away from the centre of the part.


I have tried using the Move Face tool, but one of the faces is not in the wrong postion:

What it the correct way to do this?

PS I couldn't get Transfrom to work. It seems to want to select the entire shape...

Btw, why is Onshape colouring some faces grey and some faces red?  ...in fact 2 different shades of red.

Here is something that may help, it will also help if you can share a public link to your model. Have you tried changing the Move face type to "Translate" and selecting an edge in the direction you want it to translate?

Yes, I tried selecting Translate, rather than Offset, but it makes no difference.

If I'm looking at the same faces you were, here is one way you could do this:

• Move face using the translation type
• Select entities by dragging from left to right for an "exclusive" box selection
• Select a direction to translate

PS Before I go, is there any significance to the colours. (Fwiw, I notice your part is entirely grey!)

There is no significance to the colors. I like to set my parts to grey or "white" for aesthetics only.
