I designed what I need. Is there a way to make it into a two part mold?

I made this part that I would like to reproduce. Is there an easy way to make 2 blocks that would essentially make a mold of it or do I have to design the 2 parts seperatley? This is the gasket and my idea was to make a mold that I can vacuum form after. If that makes any sense.

I would just create a block the size you want for your mold encasing your part, do a boolean subtraction, and then a split.
     Or
If you search for costume features there are some neat tools out there that could also simplify this for you.
