Newby can’t draw a cylinder

in Using Onshape
I am trying to draw a simple cylinder in OS.  Drawing a cylinder is easy enough, but I have found no way to make an annular ring out of it (subtract two cylinders), of from scratch.

I have used 2D cad since 1980, but this is my first foray into Solidworks/Onshape, so nothing is obvious.

I am running Safari on a Mac

    Hi @Ben_76 if you`re new two 3d modeling I suggest you start in this section https://www.onshape.com/learn it has very good info on how to start with OS. As for solidworks there are also a lot of good tutorials if you google them.

     As for the pipe easier to show you with a video
