Applying a Fillet to a lofted curve edge

Hi All,

I'm very new and green with Onshape. I've only been using it for 10 days now, and it's my first experience with 3D modeling, so please forgive my ignorance. I'm working on a piece and it took a while to figure out how to get the 3D fit splines to loft and actually create a smooth shape (as you can see, I'm not fully there yet...), but now I'm trying to apply a fillet to the edge and it doesn't seem to want to take. I've tried everything I know how to. Ultimately, I'll be wanting a variable fillet on the highlighted edge. I suppose my first question is how to make it happen. Secondly, I really need to understand the conditions for the fillet working properly or being rejected so I can set it up correctly on future models. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've shared the link to my project as well as provided a screenshot with the edge in question highlighted -- technically, it's 5 separate edges, but I can't get any one (or any combination) of them to take.

Thank you!
