Is there a way I can connect a curve to an object? *More to the question*

I’m trying to make supports for a small glider, but I don’t know if I can connect a curve to an object that was extruded, so when I change or move the curve, the object changes size. There is an image of what I want to do down below. I don’t know if this is possible or I am probably just missing something really simple. Thanks for the help in advance!
