I am trying to cut off a corner of a cad of 80/20, but i am continuously receiving error "Extrude 2 did not regenerate properly: Boolean operation failed to return a valid part." Is there a way to fix this, am i doing something wrong or am I SOL? Thank you.

Your sketch that you are extruding the 80/20 from is not fully constrained. There is an arc in there that is causing the stage behavior. While you can just find and fix the one arc, I would suggest that you fully constrain that sketch. See the help documentation or learning center for more information if needed.
The preview shows the extruded body in red - try flipping the extrude direction.
