What DPI does OnShape use when exporting a drawing to JPG format?

john_smith077john_smith077 Member Posts: 175 ✭✭✭
Hello

A. What DPI does OnShape use when exporting a drawing into a raster format? (e.g. JPG or PNG)
B. How can we change this DPI setting?

Thanks

J

Why would you want to export a drawing in raster format?

You could always export it in PDF first and then from the PDF you should be able to export from Acrobat or some other tool and control the DPI.

    Greetings from 2025!
I had the same question, and from a recent PNG export I got 300 DPI

I was trying to tile my 3 foot wide drawing with aligment marks for printing on letter-sized paper, and I found Matthias Wendel's "Big Print" program: https://woodgears.ca/bigprint

It works great, but that program only accepts raster image formats (i.e. no DXF or PDF)
