Unable to Loft as a Solid

I have created two profiles on different planes, and a path. When I attempt to loft one profile to the other following the path, it will not produce a solid. Works great as a surface and does what I want, but I need it to be a solid.

There was something weird going on with your circle where it wasn't recognizing it as a circle. I'm not exactly sure what went wrong but I think the issue is that in general with lofts it's a good idea to provide some guides to control the diameter across the loft, otherwise it can invert itself. Your second loft worked just fine though as it was so I just mirrored it over to where you wanted it. Mirroring is a good idea for this part as it makes it easier to edit your loft in the future.
