Joining different sketches on separate planes?

gregan_pacegregan_pace Member Posts: 5
I have two different sketches on planes spaced 16in apart. The sketches are similar, but not identical, so I can't just exude the original. But I just need basically a solid part made to fill the space between the two sketches.

Unless I misunderstand your question, the feature you need to use here is "Loft"
You might need to invoke the "Vertex Matching" option from the loft dialog, if the result is twisted.

BTW: A point of terminology: You've posted this (perhaps accidentally) in the "Drawings" category, but it is categorically ;)
    not a Drawing question
(Sketching, in this context, is a Modelling function)

    @ gregan_pace, I think as andrew_troup said you need a Loft.
