Facing problem to reorient the axes of the mate connector in assembly

MoonMoon Member Posts: 6
Currently I am following the course onshape fundamentals. I can't exactly perform the exercise 'Creating Explicit Mate Connectors' in assemblies. More specifically, I can not reorient the axis of the mate connector as mentioned in the tutorial.

My orientation is like below:

Can anyone help me regarding this?

At last, it worked. After numerous trials, I could reorient the axis of the mate connector as per the instructions given in the course.
If the process was a bit straightforward, would save a lot of time for me.
