Camera rotation: Setting to disable roll by default

I much prefer to disable roll when rotating the view. It is possible to do so by holding Alt/Option in the browser based version. But I don't think this is currently possible on the iPad?
I would love a setting to make this rotation behaviour the default, so that holding Alt/Option would have the opposite effect (allowing roll).
