I have a ciylindrical tube where I want to remove a helical part in the middle, so it became pipe-helical_spring-pipe look like part.
How to limit removal only to the middle part of the pipe?
When I create helical path I can limit it's length, but how to define its starting point not at the end of the pipe but somewhere between the ends of the pipe?
Please help.
Thx in advance

Pipe to Spring to Pipe
Part Studio 1 is three parts
Part Studio 2 is one part (the spring is embedded)

Added a part studio to the above document called EASIEST WAY
Do NOT alter Sketch 2
If you make the spring much thicker, then you’ll want go into PIPE 1 and adjust the inner and outer radii accordingly
if I get a little bit more time, I’ll make some variables and things should adjust automatically
