General problems with thread

Hello all,
I am new here in the forum and have problems with thread.
The first problem is that in a drawing with internal thread I can not dimension the nominal diameter, but only the core diameter. And the second problem is that I have not found a way to construct an external thread in part studio. I do not want to represent the external thread with a helix, because then the thread is not represented in the drawing according to the standard.

Hi, I use the featurescript from @sebastian_glanzner to create 3D and 2D threads. Are you used to external Featurescripts?

@whitechristmas, are you using the hole feature in the Part Studio and then applying a "hole callout" in the Drawing?  That callout should provide the tap size (nominal thread diameter and pitch).

Axel_Kollmenter I do not know this tool. I have only been working with Onshape for a short time in training students. The dimensioning of diameters in drawings seems to me to be quite complicated in onshape. Where can I get the tool from?

matthew_stacy Yes, I use the hole feature in part studio. Then I use the normal function for dimensioning holes.
