Dark Mode during Feature UI Input

I use dark reader for Chrome on a Chromebook, and dark reader is really helpful for keeping things a bit more sedate. But, during feature UI input the background seems to default to white, for some reason. So that becomes kind of annoying, because I'm then flashing from a white background to black background semi-frequently when in a part studio.
Any tips on how to avoid this?
