Set Assembly Name from Variable Studios

michael_thunesmichael_thunes Member Posts: 3 EDU
I would like to be able to update all of the part names and assembly names based on a variable housed in my variable studio.  I figured out how to rename parts but have been unable to figure out how to rename the assembly.

Is there a way to rename an assembly based on a variable studio variable?

Example:
Variable name: year = 2022
Assembly name: 2022_assembly

If I change the year variable it will update the assembly name to reflect the new year.

Currently you can't access variables (of any kind, not just ones in variable studios) in things like the tab/document name. The only way I can thinking of approaching this is using the API, which does have exposed endpoints to look inside variable studios.

I have found that you can not name the Assembly studio via a variable, are you able to name the assembly (inside the studio) via a variable?
