Replicate behaving in an unprdicatable way

Anyone else ever experienced the assembly replicate feature tossing parts in incorrect places? I experience this all the time with configured assemblies that are driving a configured part that has the replicated parts mated on it. I have support tickets open, I'm just trying to get a feel for if I'm sort of the only one or if this is an issue that may get fix soonish(ie. lots of people are seeing it).
