Importing a STEP file takes me on a wild goose chase finding it!

When I import a step file, sometimes the new imported part studio tab shows up in the folder that I was working in or sometimes it goes all the way to the "top level"/ parent folder. Be consistent please!
I would prefer it gets imported directly into the folder that I currently had opened when I imported the step file.
