Introducing Monarch - a Solidworks to Onshape migration tool

I'm proud to introduce CADSharp's first entry into the Onshape app store.
Monarch is a bulk migration tool for importing Solidworks files into Onshape.
It can import part files, rebuild assemblies, associate non-cad files, and maintain metadata, all while preventing duplicates.
Monarch can even replicate local file structure, creating folders in Onshape.
Monarch can be downloaded from the CADSharp website here
Monarch can be purchased from the Onshape App store here
A free trial is available so you can test it out before you purchase.

It seems an amazing tool (with a price tag) do you have maybe a short video on demonstrating how it works with larger assemblies and how it prevents duplicates?
Greetings,
Kristof
We are still working on creating more media about Monarch, so no video at this moment.
An assembly is created in Onshape by the following process:
1. Import all of the parts into their own documents
2. Create a document and assembly studio
3. Add all of the Onshape instances of the parts into the assembly
- Sub assemblies are also added in the same way
4. Transform all of the parts into place
Assemblies are always built with referenced parts, so if a part is used across multiple assemblies, it is only imported once.
Duplicates are prevented by using a database that associates imported parts in Onshape to a Solidworks property (ex part number, or the filepath).
Version 1.2 contains a number of enhancements and bug fixes.
Check it out on our website, on on the Onshape app store.
