Part Id with Forward Slash Character

I use a part id / transient id (of the form JxD etc.) as part of a filename when retrieving an STL from the API. To my surprise, it seems like Onshape tried to create an id with a slash character.
My debug print statements:
Completed STL export of ds288m_cxd_031_Jq7.
Saved ds288m_cxd_031_Jq7 stl file.
Completed STL export of ds288m_cxd_032_Jq/.
Surely this isn't an expected behaviour? Have I encountered an issue internal to my code?
This caused an issue as I then couldn't export this file.
