Servo Control Arm Push Rod Linkage Assembly Mating

This seems like it should be something that is possible, but I can't work it out

I have a simple pivoting bogie wheels being rotated by a servo through a push rod

Everything is connected, I can rotate the servo horn and te pushrod moves, I can grab the push rod and move it about the servo horn following correctly, I can pivot the front wheel around it's center correctly, but no matter what I ry I can't make that last connection between the pushrod and the wheel bogies,

Is it possible?
