I am working on a component that works with sheet metal functions.
Currently trying to add another small piece to a known structure. But I can't, what am I doing wrong?
The component should then be lasered and then edged. From the construction side, this is not a problem. But I don't get this image drawn to have it lasered accordingly.

Without access to the model it is not possible to tell what is going wrong.
But assuming that you are working on an active sheet metal model you should be able to ad this geometry with the 'tab' tool. This can be done in 3D or in 2D (flat view).

Lost my sheet metal view icon and my ability to cut sketch in flat view temporarily. There was a comment about that previously. All seems to have back after going to my account and using 'reset to defaults' in preferences/tool bars as was described. Have not needed to go into my account preferences for a long time.
