Sometimes the point command does not work.

I am trying to put a point on my drawing but it is not working why is that?

    Depends on what you mean by "not working". The only reason why a point shouldn't appear in a sketch if you are using the "point" tool would be that you are either using a different tool by mistake or that you are trying to constrain the point to an area where it can't appear. OnShape has a very small "resolution", let's call it, where you can place several points on a sketch separated by a minimum allowe distance, but the program won't allow you to put any points between two others that are separated by that minimum "resolution" or allowed distance.

    That might be a possible explanation, then again a couple pictures showing your issue would help.
