Is there anyway to backup files on my own computer when using the free subscription?  What about after upgrading to professional?

    I'm pretty sure that the only way to backup Onshape parts & assemblies to a local disk is to export them in one of the available file formats.  Onshape calls that "translating files":

    Unfortunately, you'll lose all history when you do that and end up with essentially dumb solids.
