3D Connexion Driver Issue

Has anyone else updated to the 10.8.0 Mac driver from 3D Connexion, and is having issues?
I like the additional customization that the new driver gives but in onshape my cad mouse Pro constantly freezes up. It will move the cursor around the screen just fine but the buttons work very sporadically often not doing a thing when I try to select something. Once it starts this behavior it will not work correctly anywhere on the machine until I close the browser that I had running onshape however the trackpad works fine even in onshape.
