Sweep between solids is incorrect and having problems in assemblies

Hello,
So I think there is an issue with an incorrect sweep that I made. When I bring it up in assemblies the different parts break off.

I had to fix the whole knife part to prevent it from moving apart

I'm fairly new to OnShape myself, but going through the Learning Center self-paced lessons.
When sweeping, the orientation of the profile to the path is preserved along it's length to keep the cross-section consistent.
If a more oval cross-section is desired, I suppose you could start at whatever angle you like and simply sweep into the geometry instead of terminating at the surface.
