Are more than one mate type possible between two parts?

I'm Trying to construct a so-called Scotch Yoke mechanism, see https://youtu.be/4iP_ZPBduSo
There we have a pin-slot relationship, but also a rotational relationship (the pin rotates in relation to the part with the slot).
I tried now for several hours to make that work, bid had no success. I hope someone can help me with this.
There is also a problem that the mate orientations are sometimes wrong. The z-axis (blue?) must show in a specific direction, but is wrong and cannot be turned about as necessary.
