How to split a surface as a "lid" or cover?

Hi,

I created a model in onshape and want to make a lid. The surface has a shape that I couldn't draw on a sketch to split, because splitting curves are not flat.
How can I split the surface as a lid?

Thanks.

I think you'd have to manually model the surface that represents the separation and use the Split tool. The link is view only, so I can't roll back to see your steps, but you could probably start with an offset of 0mm of the wing top surface to copy it and go from there.
